The Cause Of UNICAL Strike Action

  Many reasons were given for the remote and immediate causes: the murder of a 400-Level Public Administration student by unknown gunmen;  stabbing to death a month earlier of a 400-Level Law student; perceived insecurity; lack of adequate power and water supplies;  perceived insensitivity of the university’s medical staff; an insensitive Student Union Government; higher development levy and
 the deadline for payment.

UNICAL RESUMPTION DATE ANNOUNCED

i. The Website(Portal) will be CLOSED to School fees and damages fee payment on 15TH DECEMBER, 2011.
ii. Any Student who has not PAID before the CLOSURE will NOT be regarded as a STUDENT.
iii. The University re-opens on 6th of January, 2012.
iv. Lectures starts on 8th of January, 2012.
v. Degree Exams - 6th February, 2012.
vi. Sessional Exams - February 13th - March 10th, 2012.
v. New Students Resumption for new Session - March 16th, 2012.
vi. Returning(Old) Students Resumption for new Session - March 23rd, 2012.

 

 

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT FOR DAMAGES IN UNICAL

The Authorities of the University of Calabar has approved the re-opening of the School Portal(website) for fees payment including payment for damages, this began on Monday 10th October, 2011. All Students are expected to pay their Fees, authenticate, sign and Upload their Undertaking Forms with effect from this date.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
